Paper Calls for IWDTES 2024
Introduction
The 2024 International Workshop on Digital Twins for Energy Systems (IWDTES 2024) will be held at Wuhan, China, by Wuhan Institute of Technology, December 13-14, 2024. The colloquium will be held on line and on site simultaneously.
In recent years, with the increasing global demand for energy, energy development has become one of the focus of global attention. Through the establishment of digital models and the synchronous update of real-time data, digital twin technology is expected to improve the efficiency of energy management, improve the security and stability of the energy system, and provide strong technical support for the digital transformation of the energy industry.
The aim of this colloquium is hence to bring together people from both academic and industrial communities to exchange ideas and network friendships by discussing digital twin issues related to energy systems, where papers toward are mostly welcome.
Scope and Topics
Research and Technical papers are invited in all areas relevant to the IWDTES. The IWDTES Topics include, but are not limited to:
Digital twins in new energy
Digital twins for energy transmission
Digital twins for energy consumption management
Digital twins for energy storage
Digital twins for energy extraction
Digital twins for energy equipment security
Digital twins for intelligent manufacturing of energy equipment
Digital twin for energy equipment development
Topics not covered above but fall within the general scope of this colloquium are also welcome. Papers should be given in English.
Best Student Paper Awards
A full paper in PDF format (maximum size: 5 MB), verification of student identity must be submitted via email (linwei@wit.edu.cn) before November 14, 2024.
The competition papers must be presented by the first author at IWDTES on site or on line.
All presented papers will be judged by the committee members using multiple criteria based on technical quality and presentation effectiveness. The judges will identify First-prize Student Paper, Second-prize Student Paper, and Third-prize Student Paper.
Each first author of the papers will receive a special certificate. In addition, the first author of the First-prized Student Paper, Second-prized Student Paper, and Third-prized Student Paper will be awarded.

Deadlines and Other Key Dates
November 14, 2024 - Submit the Proposed Paper to the Competition Contacts via email (linwei@wit.edu.cn).
November 25, 2024 - Receive notification of Paper Acceptance.
November 30, 2024 - Present Paper or Poster at IWDTES.
December 13, 2024 - Attend the IWDTES Closing Ceremony.
