Major Introduction
The school offers 5 undergraduate programs, namely Process Equipment and Control Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, echatronic Engineering, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering.
Process Equipment and Control Engineering (080206)
This program offers two distinctive tracks: Intelligent Equipment and Control, and New Energy Equipment. Intelligent Equipment and Control Track: This track integrates knowledge in process machinery, computer science, automation, and intelligence to cultivate senior technical talents for the design, manufacturing, management, and R&D of modern intelligent process equipment. New Energy Equipment Track: This track integrates knowledge in new energy, process equipment, automation, and intelligence to cultivate senior technical talents for the design, manufacturing, management, and R&D of new energy equipment industries such as hydrogen energy, nuclear power, and new energy vehicles. The program is home to 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and 2 members of the Teaching Steering Sub-Committee of the Ministry of Education. It was approved as a National Distinctive Major in 2009, selected as one of the first batch of National First-Class Undergraduate Programs in 2019, and passed the China Engineering Education Accreditation in 2023. In the Aier Shen Alumni Association's ranking of China's top universities' first-class majors, it ranks 4th nationwide. In 2024, it obtained the authorization to confer doctoral degrees in the first-level discipline of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics.

Robotics Engineering(080803T)
In terms of curriculum design, this program strengthens the engineering foundations in mathematics, mechanics, and mechanics. In 2023, the Robotics Engineering program had a total of 28 graduates. Mechanical Engineering (080201)
The program specializes in computer-aided virtual design of electromechanical special equipment and product lifecycle management. Through four years of intensive training in computer-aided design software (including UG, Catia, Pro/E, SolidWorks, Adams, ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.), students are proficient in performing virtual design at all stages of product development. 80% of the students are actively involved in scientific and technological innovation competitions, having won national-level awards such as the National First Prize in the College Students' Advanced Graphing Technology and Product Information Modeling Innovation Competition, the National First Prize in the Three-Digitization Innovation Design Competition, and the National First Prize in the College Students' Metallographic Skills Competition.

It focuses on the design, development, and application of "mechatronics-intelligent-perception" integrated systems.

Intelligent Manufacturing is a key direction in the national science and technology strategic development. The major of Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation is rooted in intelligent manufacturing. It is built upon the discipline of mechanical design and manufacturing, while integrating the collaborative development of multiple other disciplines, including automation, communication, computer science, information technology, automatic control, microelectronics technology, artificial intelligence, materials, and new energy technologies. This major aims to cultivate high-level innovative talents who are well-rounded (Morality, Intelligence, Physical Fitness, Aesthetics, and Labor), possess a strong sense of social responsibility and excellent professional ethics, and are qualified builders and successors of socialism. The program trains students to master the solid basic theories and professional knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing, control, and equipment management.
